HistoryThe Women’s Fund of El Paso was founded in 2004 after a study entitled “El Paso Portraits: Women’s Lives, Potential and Opportunities” was completed to assess the state of women in El Paso. The study found a great disparity of income and education among women in El Paso, including 38,000 single mothers. The study became a call to action and the Women’s Fund of El Paso was established to connect women with resources available in the community and offer educational advancement and leadership development opportunities.
