2016 Power of the Purse
Our 7th annual Power of the Purse event took place on May 5, 2016 at Epic Railyard Center. This signature fundraising event is held every 18 months attracting over 400 guests and featuring a live and silent auction and a “Mercado” of new and vintage handbags. Last year’s Power of the Purse featured an auction of more than 60 designer purses, vacations, and featured donated purses from 10 local Power Women that including UTEP President Dr. Diana Natalicio and County Judge Veronica Escobar. It also included over 300 Mercado purses that we generously donated by local women. Altogether, this year’s event raised $55,115.
